Ferdinand State Forest
The 7640 acre Ferdinand State Forest is located 21 miles southeast of Jasper. Included in the park is the 40 acre Ferdinand Lake with fishing, boating, boat ramp, summer boat rentals, beach, dressing rooms and houses, picnic tables, restrooms and playgrounds. The Ferdinand State Forest also offers additional seasonal entertainment and educational programs such as live music performances and conservation and wildlife education.
